Designed in 1962 by the well-know American architect Peter Harnden, CASA DEL CAPITAN combines modernity, simplicity and high level comfort, with influences from both Mediterranean and Californian styles from the 1950’s : minimalist spaces, transparency, sea views, authentic & local materials.
It was a novelty in the early 60’s in Cadaques which later inspired other architects and became a reference.
For nearly 20 years, Dali’s personal Manager, the extraordinary « Captain Moore », lived in the house welcoming a varietey of international artists, intellectuals and free spirits, all in this incredible house !
